Calcium/Vitamin D fortified Orange Juice
I'm always looking for ways to incorporate more calcium into my diet because I'm not a big milk drinker and I've recently discovered calcium/vitamin D fortified orange juice which has 30% of your calcium and 50% vit D per cup as well as lots of folate, potassium and even 2g of protein. I know that juice is generally considered not great because of the high sugar content (this particular brand has 23g) but do the benefits ever out weigh the costs? I love fruit juice but try not to drink much of it. Very interested to hear your thoughts, I'm actually going back to school in January to start a dietetics program so I was happy to stumble upon this sub-Reddit!
