Color wedding dress for someone with a red skin tone?

I plan on tanning prior to my wedding day, the only problem is I'm half American Indian And I always have a red skin tone after. What color dress would look good? I'm afraid white will make the red stand out and off white will look dirty against the red, anyone else with this type of skin? What kind of dress did you get and if possible may I see a picture of it against your skin?

edit to clarify I'm not talking of tanning the day of, I'm going to gradually build my tan over the course of a few months. With my last session a week or so before. Even after my skin has relaxed I am red because if my heritage.
