I want to build in 20 MOA. Should I build it into the Base or the Mount?

Gaining access to a range that will give me a place to shoot 500 yds. I just so happen to be building a new precision rifle. I found myself pondering if it would be better to build the 20 MOA into the Base or the LaRue QD Mount that I will be getting.

Is there any reason why it would be better to put the MOA into one component rather than the other? I was originally thinking of build it into the base that way I can use the QD to take the scope off and put it on a shorter range rifle that has a flat base (or an AR or something) where I don't need to the elevation. That is still where I am leaning. Interested in your opinions. Thanks!
