Springfield or Taurus 1911?

I am looking for a new 1911. It has to be stainless steel and it has to be "loaded". By that I mean ambi. safety, beavertail grip safety, and a skeletonised hammer. I was looking around, and to me, it seems that the Springfield loaded stainless 1911 and the Taurus pt1911 stainless are the top contenders. however, I have heard mostly crap about Taurus and their customer service and mostly good things about the springfield company and their amazing service.

Now I'm not a label snob, but is the springfield really worth the 200+ dollars more that i would cost?
