Pretty major game flaw IMO

The game doesn't freeze time or anything like that when you do certain cinematics (mainly side quest ones). I was doing a homestead mission and the ending cinematic talking to the people after saving them and some guards came from nowhere and started beating on me... So it was either watch the cinematic and die, or miss a cinematic (something I HATE doing).
