what could an icon for the “other side” look like..just grey stripes? 🤣 just use whatever icon u have available that’s what u use when u don’t want the pride cosmetics. don’t worry about it just close your eyes when u see the RGB hex codes in horizontal striped design come up
They're trying to suggest that hate groups that are anti-LGBTQ should be represented.
They want a swastika profile icon without saying they want one.
It's probably just bait, or it's a genuine bigoted asshole.
Either qay, report, block, and move on.
jesus damn if anything if any person saw an icon like that in their lobby theyre being headhunted for sport till their death stats looks the fibonacci sequence multiplied
grey stripes, straight pride symbols, or something like a rainbow flag with an x through it
this entire thing has to be satire, surely
It may seem like it because many overwatch players are vocal about their support of pride but there are also many of us that don't support it
so you're proud of being a homophobic bigot that doesn't want equal rights for people? that's crazy
Name calling doesn't do anything. I support equal rights but I think some things shouldn't be rights in the first place. For example, Americans have the right to own guns but some are against that right.
"name calling" if you're offended by the words "homophobe" and "bigot" that says a lot about you
I mean who am I kidding, that last sentence tells us a LOT about you.
a majority of the world lies on the other side of the issue.
Source?
I'm really only seeing continental Africa and some of the Middle East where this is the case.

Within wealthier countries like the US, LGBT rights exist despite there still being disagreement among the populace. In poorer countries, the populace tends to be more unified against the movement. South America is an example of a region that lacks anti-LGBT laws yet the public is still largely against the movement. https://www.americasquarterly.org/article/latin-americas-support-for-same-sex-marriage/
While this article is a little old, it contains a good bar graph that shows what Im tlking about. Based on the trends presented in the first article, I would assume that support for the movement has probably only improved slightly since.
what issue?
the LGBT issue
what lgbt issue?

It would be great if they could incorporate Nazi symbols or something like that. Boy of boy imagine the discussion that would foster.
Sorry, if one side doesn't want the other to exist it's not an idea that should be promoted. Let people live their lives. Lgbtq+ people deserve to live without harassment and vilification from people who hate them just because they exist in the world.
Nazism is much less of an actual issue today as it was back then. Most were against nazism back then and still are today. Pride is a much more modern and divisive issue that doesn't directly correlate to the genocide of 6 million. In America, at most half of people support LGBT, but probably less due to it being hard to get an accurate estimate. It differs in other countries but most of the world's population does not support LGBT. As for the second paragraph, Im sure both sides of this issue wish for the other to not exist but Blizzard is only supporting one of them. Im sure each side of every issue wishes for the other side to not exist. As for letting people live their lives, I hold the view that people have the freedom to live their lives and do what they want in private and to themselves. One can be against the pride movement without hating those associated with it. However, LGBT represents so much more than simply letting people live in peace.
You are fundamentally broken and you need to get out of your usual discourse communities and develop some perspective.
It's actually a bigger problem now then it has been at any point following WW2. The Nazis employed the same methods at the beginning of their rule. Marginalizing and demonizing Jews, homosexuality and other groups like the Roma. Nazis didn't start with the final solution, but walked down a hateful path and ended up there. Modern day bigots won't stop after pushing lbgtq+ to the margins of society.
Providing a platform to people like this is hurtful and not needed. You should really get out of your bubble and try talking to some people from the community before buying into and pushing hateful speech and ideas.
Personally it would be bad for a company to support hate on something. I do like your idea but it would really hurt blizzard if they added things for people who don't support lgbtq
I see your point but I think it would probably draw a lot more people than it would lose. no way to know though
No it would not lol. The america media will cry over anti lgbtq stuff
The media probably would
Tell us you're a hateful bigot without directly telling us you're a hateful bigot.
