Last night at work, people of Arab descent came into the store and their total was $9.11, without thinking I told them their total was "nine eleven." Reddit, what things have you said to someone of a different race that came out totally wrong?

Thankfully, they laughed but there were a few awkward seconds where I was like, "Shit..."
