It's basically a CB! Just with different pipes....

Hey r/HondaCb! I recently put some money down on a Cl360! It's a little rough, the tank needs to be cleaned, the carbs synced. Lots of basic stuff, but I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do when I have it completely torn down. I've also got a few questions!

I have the clymer manual, I was told to get the actual Honda manual as well to help with the tear down, would it be wise to do so?

I know the Cam shaft tensioners have a really REALLY bad rep, how do I make sure mine is in good working condition?

I have a basic idea of what I want to do with this bike looks wise, I still want it to be a two-seater but I also want a cafe sort of feel to it. (I'll have pictures in the next 10 days or so! I still owe about 100$ on it!) What I want to do is powdercoat the frame a sort of firetruck red, then do the front and rear fender a matte black. Leave the tank bare metal and clearcoat it with a new set of honda decals. Then get the pipes powdercoated matte black and wrap them with white exhaust wrap.

Also! I had a previous post in r/motorcycles about my 1974 Honda Cb125s1, it's since been torn down cleaned and rebuilt, runs tip top! Sorry about the lack of pictures, but what do you think?
