Last night, a friend responded to a question about networking for jobs with an answer about networking computers. What are your good contextual conversation breakdown moments?
He's job hunting, and has been talking to a lot of folks. We were talking about it with some friends, and Friend B mentions that he hates networking and doesn't know how people can do it. Friend A replies with a list of his IT certifications, and how he's not a huge fan of it, but he's perfectly doing anything for pay. Friend B had to point out that, in true programmer/computer geek fashion, Friend A had replied to an interpersonal question like a tech question. Much hilarity was had by all.
