Modern (Legal) equivalent of Platinum series by Promo Only

Does anyone know if a legal equivalent was ever released of the platinum series? In other words, if I wanted to build a wedding library, where would you recommend I begin?

I understand that there are lists of the most requested songs from the last half dozen decades or so, but if anyone has found an easier way than going through song by song, decade by decade I would greatly appreciate it!
