Far Cry 3 - Hurts my eyes!

Been trying to play this game for 2 days on PC but it really hurts my eyes for some reason and gives me a headache, it is specifically this game. I play tons of PC games for long hours but 15 minutes in and my eyes are hurting on this. Anyone found a solution? I managed to reduce it by messing with the settings a little but it didn't help much. No one suggest gunnar glasses.
