No idea what to get my brothers for the holidays. What affordable gift ideas are you particularly proud of this year?
My family has never been really into gifts--either the giving or receiving. Last Christmas I decided I wanted to change that by getting everyone in my family some kind of little ≤$10 gift. I want to do the same, but I'm still stumped trying to figure out what I could get my brothers (20 and 25) that they'd actually enjoy. The difficult thing is that I don't live near them, so I don't even know what they own already (like board or video games). Last year I got them games that I don't think they ever played again after about Dec. 27th.
In answer to my posed question, though: This year I got my dad a photo book. The photos I put in it are sentimental ones, and he has no idea that I have usable access to the photos. I can't wait to see his reaction.
Edit: This is my first post, so maybe I did this improperly. I definitely do appreciate advice, but I'm looking for inspiration from your awesome gift experiences!
