It's migraine season (for me) any tips for handling them?

This time of year I get terrible migraines. I'm prone to them normally, but get them more so during the fall/winter transition (which in Ohio is all of October and November). Between 1:30 and 3:00 in the afternoon they get worse, which I've heard is due to barometric pressure and temperature. I'm also prone to sinus infections due to having inherited some slightly malformed sinus cavities. This last migraine has been with me since last Sunday, and it's my first one to last a week. I'm also prone to having very strange, vivid dreams early in the morning this time of year. Just throwing that out there. I don't expect there to be a correlation, but if there is, I'd at least like to know. So, Reddit, any tips for surviving migraine season 2012?
