Filter out imgur/tumblr from Front Page?

Let me start off by saying that I actually enjoy the imgur/tumblr content on the front page... but due to some web-proxy shenanigans at work, imgur and tumlbr aren't viewable. As you can imagine, this renders about 99.jello% of the front page a painful reminder of what I'm missing.

So, is there some way to configure a "custom" front page experience that will filter out all links from imgur.com and/or tumblr.com?

EDIT: I just realized I could do a custom filter in RES and just turn it on/off depending on whether I'm at work or not. If there's a better way than that, please let me know.
