Need advice on equipment for a gift

Hey all,

Christmas is fast approaching... I have a father-in-law that's brewed a few small batches with a Mr. Beer kit and is really interested to start doing more homebrew. I ordered both of us the Midwest Supplies Beginner's Kit when I saw the deal on LivingSocial a few weeks back, and I plan to give this to him as part of his Christmas gift.

When I've talked to him about brewing, he's really interested in doing all-grain brewing. So, my question is this:

Assuming that I'm starting with the Midwest Supplies Beginner's Kit, what other equipment should I look into buying to upgrade his gift to a good all-grain setup?
