Alright, I have my brilliant concept created and on the web. How do I get it seen?

I have spent a load of time and effort planning and organizing this website that I have been contemplating for a year. Now it is done and in the wild how do I get people to find it? I have the company that worked on it doing their own SEO stuff, but what should I do to give it every chance?

I can post the web address if people ask but I do not want this to seem like a shameless plug.
