Skorn versus 1-H + Mojo?

I'm currently using a Skorn which adds a ton of damage to my DPS. I'm wondering if it's more optimal to use a 1-H + Mojo? Most of the options I've seen in order to match my Skorn's DPS are really expensive. Any suggestions?
