Can you recomend me which book to start with?

I've read cliff notes of what happens after return of the jedi, and read a lot of wookiepedia. And have been wanting to read the books but I am not sure where to start.

Not really into alternative "what ifs" like the one where look surcums to the dark side.

Also would like a book about Wraith Squadron if they have one?
