Black Cabs - A warning

I've heard of two people now that have been in town at the end of a night out and had a black cab pull up to them and the driver has said that their mates have sent a cab for them. The taxi driver has then drove them to the middle of a housing estate and mugged them. On at least one of the instances there was another man in the passenger seat of the taxi, presumably to help with the mugging.

Just getting the word out in the hopes none of you lovely redditors fall victim to this. I'm not saying shun black cabs, just be careful at the end of the night and travel home with other people if possible.
