[Build Help] Graphics Card compatibility with CPU or MoBo?

Hello r/buildapc,

I was wondering if there is such thing as compatibility between a Graphics cards and a CPU or Motherboard. I know that I must have the right PCI-E or PCI for the Graphics card but I was wondering whether I need to look out for the compatibility that I will face when buying a graphics card for a PC that I am going to build.

The PC that I am going to build for now is going to be low end as I am planning to save up money for a better one. (Also bare in mind that I am going to University soon and I need to save money)

My Motherboard at the moment is Aspire x1920 and the Graphics card that I am planning to buy is MSI GeForce GT 430 2048MB GDDR3 PCI-Express Graphics Card : http://bit.ly/U9WsVb

P.s. I am going to use the PC for a low res gaming as I am not really bothered about the quality at the moment, as long as its playable its all good. :)
