my dad finally watched the first episode. i think it's safe to say he's hooked.

After trying to convince my dad for an incredible amount of time to try watching Breaking Bad, I made him a bet. If he watched the first two episodes and was not hooked, I would pay him 20 dollars; if he was hooked then he would pay me five. Several weeks later, he texts me and says, "I watched the first episode, what do I owe you?"

The following day, he texts me once again and says, "Am I still picking you up at 2:45?" I replied yes. He ends the conversation by saying, "I might be late, because I am up to episode 3 season 2. Dick."
