Can we have a different spoiler system for unaired episodes?
On some days of the week a large percentage of the content that gets submitted to the reddit is marked as a "spoiler" even though it is about a recently aired episode.
The problem is that this is the same classification used for episodes that haven't aired at all.
I think there is a big problem with this system. The flurry of activity around a recently aired episode is not really a spoiler for most people. If you are trying to avoid information about an already aired episode there is literally no point in coming to the subreddit since almost all the posts are about the episode. Those who have not seen the episode that day already know this.
By contrast posts about unaired episodes are true spoilers for everyone. There is no chance anyone has seen that episode.
So here's the problem: how is it possible to avoid future episode spoilers (actual spoilers) while still being able to view content centered around recent episodes? Recent episode discussion is the majority of the subreddit's content a few days of the week! There is no way to tell what is going to be "spoiled" without looking at it (and risk being spoiled).
What I propose is to separate the two kinds of spoilers as they really don't belong with each other at all. We shouldn't be in the position where the majority of the subreddit's content is characterized the same as a spoiler for a future episode.
