Help with dye!!

Hello! So basically I have dyed my hair many colors before, bleached it, and all sorts of other things..so I consider myself pretty experienced when it comes to dying my own hair. I would really like this dark to light blue ombre effect but I'm not 100% on how to achieve it. My hair is brown right now. Would it work if I ombred my hair to blonde at the ends and then applied the blue dye? And are there any tips for getting the grading as seamless as this picture? Thanks!
