Fellow non-shavers: how do you deal with social pressure?
Hey ladies,
I have realized over the past couple years that I have a prejudice against women who don't shave their legs or underarms, and it made me disappointed in myself. As a result, I decided to stop shaving cold turkey to get over my issue. Over the past few months of not shaving, I have started to question why society expects women to shave but not men and why people (including myself) are grossed out to see hair on women's legs and underarms but not with men. In fact, with men, it can be considered attractive. I am starting to get over my prejudice, and become more comfortable with my own body hair, but I still feel very self-conscious when I am showing it in public. How do my fellow non-shavers deal with this problem?
