Stoic view on physical exercise?
Hey, r/Stoicism. Stoics seem to advocate indifference towards the body. From what I recall from Discourses, Epictetus references participation in physical exercise but says little specific (but I could be mistaken). Again, from what I recall (more hazy this time), Epictetus regarded with disdain physical exercise as a means to improve one's appearance (or any means to do so). If any of the above be incorrect, do correct me, but how did Stoics view physical exercise? All contributions are appreciated!
