Deluxe Promotion Question

I have a question about the Deluxe Promotion. I really want to buy NSMB on the eShop, but I don't want to miss out on the promotion. The question I have is will Nintendo redeem customers for their purchases before the Deluxe Promotion becomes available in December, or should I wait to buy the game?
