How should I approach this situation? An individual I know tried to egg my friends and I.

created a throw away because I don't want any of my family or other friends involved in this issue so here it goes.

Friday night my friends and I went to see a movie, and upon leaving this car rolls up with about 4-5 people and they throw a bunch of eggs at us. (stupidly all of them missed, a bit of the splatter got on one of my friends shoes). And I thought I recognized the guy lets call him Chicken, but to my knowledge I thought he owned a different car. It happened so fast, by the time we thought of getting a plate number down they were too far away.

Another one of my friends who also was at the theaters that day with a different group said the same people tried to get them. I asked around my other friends, seeing as to if they know an individual who owned this type of car, and without mentioning his name they said oh yeah Chicken owns that type of car! So my assumptions were correct.

A little bit about Chicken, he has a DUI charge, has not graduated high school, constantly bullies people via social networking or use to in the halls of the school. There are allegations of him cheating on his girlfriend multiple times but that's not my business, so may or may not be true. All around, this guy is the biggest scumbag i have ever met. He has verbally harassed a lot of my friends, although i have no proof of that which I can provide. There may be proof of him being a bully through social networking but I honestly don't even want to go through the effort of looking at a years worth of his posts.

Now what do I do? I'm sick and tired of this guy being an asshole and getting away with it. Should I go to the police, find his plate number, hand it over to them, and hope that the theater has video surveillance of it happening? I'm in high school, and I honestly do not have the time to deal with him as I'm trying to maintain my grades and apply to university, which is a pleasure in life he will never have.

If it helps this is in Ontario Canada and my friends and I who were egged are all girls, it happened around midnight. I appreciate your help. Btw, was not entirely sure which subreddit to post in, sorry if its the not the appropriate one..
