Not exactly a beard, but a question on where to work with a beard.

I had to shave my beard after having it for two months. I recently got a job at Long John Silver's and they required that my beard be shaven. I cannot connect my goatee to a mustache so it was against store policy. Where do all of you work with your magnificent beards?
