Hash

Hey everyone. I'm not sure if this is the right sub for this or not but i know you guys are nice and will direct me in the right direction.

So I have a half ounce of blue dream and want to make hash. In your opinion what is the best way to go about this to get the highest yield/most potent end product. I'd also like to know what the easiest way is since its my fist time using this much pot. I tried the coffee grinder/cellophane/iron method but the end product ended up being just compacted keif, not hash. I was looking into the cold water method but I want r/tree's input before I potentially waste $200. Thanks in advance!
