"Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery."

Whenever I finish reading a book and I start to write on my own, I feel like I'm taking their voice. Sometimes I even feel like I don't have my own writing style. Do you ever end up writing like an author that you idolize? I feel cheap when I read my writing and it's not at least partly original and consisting of my own 'voice'.
