Does the awkwardness of new pronouns & name ever go away?

I am just now starting to have close family members call me by the correct name and pronouns, but for some reason every time they do, I sort of get this feeling in my gut that makes me feel really awkward. It doesn't help that my mom and dad both say my female name in a semi-joking manner, not in a mean spirited way but it is pretty off-putting :/

Did/does anyone deal with this and does it go away with time? I should mention I have pretty debilitating social anxiety which may be playing a part in this, it's even hard for me to use my female voice in front of my family :/ I don't feel this way when I am interacting with people online (it feels very natural then), it's only in person with people who knew me as male before.

EDIT: Well I'm very glad to hear I'm not alone on this :) I hope I'll get used to it fast.
