Use connection manager w/ PC with no internet?
Hey guys, I recently got a Vita but was a little bummed out when I found out the way the saves worked. I accepted the fact that I would have to backup multiple gigs of data just to save my game saves. I figured it wouldn't be that bad if I just made a backup on my laptop of all my games because I always have it with me, assuming that I could just plug my Vita in and swap games.
I spend a lot of time in places without internet, so I was quite disappointed when I was at one of my friends house and wanted to play/show him a different game only to find out that you're forced to be connected to the internet to connect your vita to your PC. This is extremely frustrating. I only have a 4 gig card and all of my games are digital right now, so unless I have an internet connection I am screwed and cannot change anything with my system.
Is it possible in any way to bypass this internet check or make it think you're online, basically is there any way to connect your vita to your PC without an internet connection? If not, is this something they may change in the future? Or will they acknowledge their terrible save format and change that down the line?
