Looking for sci-fi books similar to novels written by Alastair Reynolds

I have read every book written by Alastair Reynolds and just love the ultra detailed hard science fiction worlds he's able to create. The adventures of people in those worlds and the epic scale of everything going on in the novels just makes my imagination run wild.

I have also read through Stephen Baxters Xelee sequence and I liked it although it was sometimes a bit too far out there for me.

I really like believable sci-fi stories and worlds. Something way in the future that might actually come true as opposed to impossible technology and physics.

If anyone can recommend a good author in the same vein as Reynolds it would be much appreciated.
