[FR] Finally approached a girl after months of being on seddit and I just wanted to say, thanks.
The other day after work, I worked up enough courage to ask a coworker out. When I saw her at a busy time I asked when she'd be free so we could talk. Later that day when that time came, I went straight forward and told her that I thought she was cute and that we should go out sometime. With that she said that she had a boyfriend, and so there I simply ended it there with an "awww oh well." Whilst this was happening I had AA, like the worst I had ever had. I took a deep breath and just straight up asked her. In the end although she said no, I was proud of myself, I was happy that I was able to ask her out. The adrenaline rush made me feel so alive! After today I know that I can do SO MUCH more! Any feed back would be nice on what I should have done, what I can improve on and what I did well and such.
This is where the thanks come, thank you seddit for helping me improve my life. Before learning about seddit, I was a beta that kept quite in almost ever situation. I would never speak out of turn, never start the conversation, never raise my voice, never be noticed. I would always think that people are judging me with everything I do, but they really didn't. Ever since I began to read the posts on seddit and do my own research, my life has gotten so much better. With everything I do, I do with confidence and no fear as to how people would judge me. Who I am today compared to who I was a few months ago are two completely different people. From being a nobody, i'm now considered the life of the party. With this I say Thank you again, and I hope I will be able to contribute back to the community.
TL;DR Approached a girl for the first time, failed, but was happy in the end.
TL;DR Thank you Seddit for making my life better.
