I'm part of a hill walking society. What's your favourite place to go hill walking and why?

I'm part of a hill walking society called the Rum Doodle Society. Traditionally we go hill walking in Scotland twice a year but we're looking into going somewhere new next year. We're trying to keep costs reasonable but I'd be interested to know if anyone knows of any gems which they'd like to share (even if it's in Scotland).
