intolerance to others; considerably worse for the world than faith.

over the past few weeks i've been working with the general public. some are old, some are young, some are religious, some are not. most don't even share the information readily because it's not a huge deal where i'm from.

yesterday, a devout catholic man came in and handed me a leaflet about jesus christ being my saviour. he told me that jesus wishes me well and that i would be happy in life if i continued down the path i was on. i told him i'm not a man of faith, but i really appreciated his kind words. he said that's perfectly fine, and told me to have a nice day, and that god will be with me regardless.

no atheists/theists were demeaned in this scenario.
