Looking for some travel tips for Ireland, Scotland and England.

American, and a friend and I are planning a 10 day trip to Ireland, Scotland and England. Will be a first time trip, and wanted to know if you guys had some must-see attractions that we should experience. Good bars, historical treats and fantastic food sites that the travel books dont tell you about. thanks!
