How do I write an essay about epistemology and critical thinking? I mean, I can't even find a thesis the prompt is so...strange.

The prompt is kind of simple but it takes you down the rabbit hole a bit.

Should Holocaust deniers be able to share their opinion in class and academia? It goes deeper. Did the holocaust happen as historians say it happened? Did the holocaust even happen at all? How do we as people looking into the past know what happened and judge what is true?

You see, it goes from specific to highly vague and I don't even know where to begin. Do I just begin by trying to answer these questions?
