Perhaps this isn't the place to put this, but I'm planning on buying Roland SP-404. What I want to know is what are the differences between sp-404sx linear wave sampler and sp-404 sampling workstation?

Which one do you recommend me to use? I record home music and create a lot of samples and loops. I play them with Ableton live. However, what I want is to be able to play those loops and samples without needing the computer. I mean, only using the sampler. And I really loved the sp-404 because it's portable and because of its portable microphone. But I don't know how are they different.
