920 Location Services

Hello all, I have a 920 that I got on launch day from an AT&T store. Periodically I notice my phone is searching for my location (it shows the logo in the top corner), but I have no idea why. Nokia drive is turned off in the background, I have a weather app, but I told it not to search for my location. I just can't figure out what it could be. I don't know if it's worth the concern, but I'm afraid it may be contributing to battery drain. Anyone else here experience this?
