Laptop screen cracked, should i repair?

Well, pretty much the title, My laptop screen is cracked, and lights up all nice and white in time for the holidays.

Thankfully i have an old monitor to connect to it, but it's pretty bad. Should i try to get it repaired? How much does it usually cost?
