How do you find / consult a mentor in business?

Hey everyone,

I'm interested in real estate and also interested in the food industry. But what I am trying to figure out is how you go about finding a mentor for different industries. How do you know who to contact and how do you go about asking them to help you? Does anyone have any experience with this?
