My mom wants to take out a Sallie Mae loan in my name..does anyone have experience with paying them back/how it goes?

I'm attending college again at a different university that is out of state and will need further assistance. I'm nervous about taking a loan from such a huge company and upon doing research have found good and bad things about them.

So, what say you frugal?
