the FOX flip - as a progressive why I'm in support of FOX idiocy now

I've been a staunch opponent of FOX over the last several years - I've seen it as divisive and harmful because the information they put out is fundamentally dishonest. While this dishonesty has not changed at all, my opinions about them recently have.

At this point I want FOX to keep going, I want them to continue to spew false information and extremist diatribe to those who would choose to keep watching them. Their demographics and reach are falling and already shown to be failing, so it seems they are simply sending out continuous streams of false information and perspective to people that are working actively against the interests of the rest of the country. In a weird way, this double negative helps solve the problems in the US - those warped people will be less effective, less able to succeed as their views and data are supported by false premises and biased, extreme political views and continue to drift farther outside the mainstream, reasonable folks in the center.

Does this seem like a reasonable conclusion?
