Self Conscious about genital smell

So I'm male and I have to say for the past little while I've been starting to be self conscious about body odor down there. I'd like to clear that I've been tested so the chances of it being an STI/disease are slim to none.

I always shower before dates so I'm clean...but I apparently secrete a lot of precum and that can be during the date (if things are hot) or during foreplay and by the time I take my pants off...well I'm always worried about the smell.

I wanted to know if there's any tips on that or etiquette, should I go to the washroom clean it quickly before getting in bed or any suggestions would be really welcomed.

This issue came after a girl told me I tasted different than other guys she had before.
