Keep or rethrift these shoes?

Got these yesterday, but wasn't totally sure about them. They fit, though the heel is a little uncomfortable, and overall, they seem a little goofy and overstylized, kind of a "yesstyle" shoe. Anyway, for only $10, I was comfortable bringing them home and deciding later.

I also got these, which I'm solidly happy with. I needed a black, dressy, oxford, and I wasn't really excited about spending a lot of money on a "boring" shoe like this. They're a bit worn, but I think they'll do their job.
