The White Lady

Basically I never told this story because I thought everybody would think I'm stupid, but here we go, I subscribed only recently to reddit and I'm not a native english speaker so pardon me for my mistakes :P

I have to precise that I'm russian and I live in the south of France (I perfectly speak french), it won't change anything to the story though, just so you get to imagine better. Now I start my story:

It was 3 years ago (I was 15, I'm 18 now) at my step dad's grandparents' place which is not very far from Marseille (I guess you know this city) and I was sleeping there. I know them since I'm 4 years old and i used to spend all my holidays there (It's a big house, with 5 rooms and one big living room). One thing that always scared me is the fact that my step grand parents love to sleep in the complete dark, but by complete dark I mean complete, when you cannot even see after 5min of your eyes being in the dark. And being a kid, I always found that scary. One night, I did the mistake to wake up during the night, and at that moment I started thinking a lot, and thinking about school and stuff. I remembered one conversation that I had with some friends (we loved to shares scary stories) that was about the malediction of the "Dame Blanche" literally the White Lady in french, and my friends told me that if you say Dame Blanche 5 times in a row in the complete dark she will appear. And you know that moment when your brain tells you not to do something but you still do it ? Well that's what I did at that moment. Another detail that I forgot to mention is that next to the bed on the left side there was an aquarium, with inside a sort of mechanism that created bubbles with a sort of control with different levels (1 to 5), and it was usually at the level 1, the lowest one. So coming back to to my in my bed. I said the famous curse 5 times. Nothing happened, so I told to myself "Well Nikita (it's my name), see ?!! Nothing happens, you were stupid to think that this thing could be real !" and at that moment the bubbles of the Aquarium started make a lot of noise, I can't even explain how noisy it was. I thing I've never been so scared in my life. I jumped out of the bed to turn on the light, and I won't lie to you, I felt a presence (maybe it's only cause I was scared). And of course It was so dark that I couldn't find the light switch. When I finally found it, I went to the aquarium in order to change the level of the bubbles because I didn't want it to wake up my grandparents. And it was still on 1, I tried to change the level but nothing happened, I had to unplug it in order to stop it ...

I know some of you will tell that I was dreaming, but I'm sure I wasn't because right after that I was so scared that I couldn't sleep anymore and had to go watch the TV. I don't have any explanation for this event ... I know maybe of you won't believe me but I swear everything is true ...

Also my step dad and her sister (my aunt) told me some stuff that happened in the house when they were young, but I call for bullshit because my step dad loved to scare me when i was little.
