Suggestions for combination machines

My father has had the same coffee machine for the past thirty years, and has decided that he wants a new machine.

He likes the convenience of drip coffee. But likes hosting, and wanted an espresso machine. He's been looking at the De'longhi machines.

What is r/coffee's opinion, do you like those machines? or would you have alternate suggestions?
