help selecting a camera/lens

i am trying to figure out what i need to take pictures of the inside of a room. i am a realtor and any of the cameras i have are just standard digital cameras. and i normally use my phone because it has a 10mp camera and takes very good pictures.

anyway, i want to tak a picture of the inside of a room and get most if not all of the room in one shot. i need these pictures for listings that i am going to put online. i was looking at a fisheye lens but i was also told that i need a camera that does panorama. i thought panoramic pictures tended to be very wide, while a fisheye lens distorts the picture to increase the field of view. is this correct and is there a cheap camera that will do what i need it to do without extra equipment? this is the only task the camera needs to be able to do. any help is appreciated.
