What sucks and frustrates you about current travel sites like Expedia & Orbitz?

Travel is awesome and of course the ability to find and book travel online is pretty amazing, but we know that sites like Expedia, Orbitz and Travelocity were built to cater to our parents, even Kayak's demographic is on the older side.

What sites do you use for your travel and what do you like them? Do you like the traditional sites or are you a Airbnb fan, Couchsurfing junkie or do you have secret outlet to meet your travel needs?

What do you wish those sites did better and what do they do now to make you feel like they just don't get you.

I'm 25 and I would love more information on the environmental impact of my travel and how I could connect with the place and the people of where I am going.
